I didn't have a lot of money to spend on a computer and all of the chain stores that I had gone into to buy a computer did not have the service or the selection that I wanted. I was hesitant to purchase a computer "on-line" but now I am glad that I did. The computer was exactly what I wanted (Cheap Laptop Company gives you more information up front on what you are purchasing than any other place that I had tried), and I received it within two days. I have not had one problem or complaint. Well done.

Great little starter laptop for my daughter. She's graduating soon, and this will help her alot with her college studies.
I wish it had had the manual with it, but she's figuring out most of what it does.

This laptop was a fantastic purchase. It's compact, fast, fairly lightweight, has everything I need and was great value. Even though it's second hand there was hardly a scratch on it and had so many more features than any brand new (cheaper) maker's model would have. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

I don't have this particular spec laptop mine has 2 GB DDR2 Ram but the rest is much of a much. Why buy this laptop, budget 1st. Compared to the price when new, it represents great value. If your in the market for a netbook this is hundreds of times better. Every port you'll ever need, more connectivity than you'll no what to do with, bluetooth for example. It has DVD drive, built like a tank, nice and light for its size, one of the best keyboards in the market and will run rings round a netbook for speed. Down sides battery wont be great by today's standards and the track pad while is OK it is what it is, you'll get used to it. If you want more than Windows XP you could upgrade and the Dell D620 will be fine, but the point being if you wish to buy a secondary laptop and don't want to spend a lot of cash, you'll struggle to find better. These are commercial industry grade laptops as opposed to consumer grade ones and as I've said, there well put together.
